How to Navigate the Holster Selection and Customize the Colors
The selection of our leather holster designs may be tricky at times, so let me guide you.
- Our main Custom Gun Holsters category is the best way to start
- Using the gun filter at this point will not narrow down your options, as our leather holsters are generally available for the same gun list. Use the Material filter instead and tick leather.
- Narrow down your carry style. You can easily filter out Inside the Waistband (IWB) for concealed carry, Outside the Waistband (OWB) for open carry, or other.
- If you use a rail-attached flashlight or a laser, tick the option Gun with Light in the Holster design section of our filter. Most of our designs can be made optics-ready, so I would not worry about that now.
- If you want to play with colors, tick “Extra Color Options” to filter the products that have them. (Note: The extended leather color options are available only for our Premium Leather line, where the leather is tanned in a vegetable tan bath by ourselves. You can also easily distinguish the Premium Leather products by their product code.)
Now you should be all set with the filter and can pick a base holster design you like.
How to Navigate the Product Configuration
When you pick your base design & click on it, you can see all the customization options on your right. If you are using your phone, hit the “Product Configuration” button right under the product picture to start.
- Firstly, you can choose the product line. Premium & Classic have the same functionality but a different feeling. Premium is hand tanned in-house, has a more decadent finish and craftier look, and offers extra color options. The leather for our Classic line comes pre-tanned from the tannery in only black or brown. Comfort line available for IWBs and Shoulder rigs is made from soft suede leather in mustard yellow.
- Once you pick the leather line, choose your firearm from the drop-down menu. If you struggle to find it, tick the option “Have not found what you were looking for” under the gun selection to type in your exact gun make and model.
- If you run a Red Dot Sight, we will automatically make the holster compatible with high sights. If your front sights are higher than 0.32”, make sure to state that in the shopping cart.
The rest should not be tricky. You can pick the dominant hand, colors you like, embossing or engraving, and add a gift box, matching gun belt, or a break-in kit. Our Customer Care will gladly help and guide you if you have any additional questions or concerns.

How Do We Make It Happen: What FALCO Holsters Do Differently?
Everything we offer is designed & manufactured one at a time by our artisans in our own production plant. That allows us to tailor each product to your exact needs from the moment we laser cut the raw full-grain Italian leather up until the last stroke of the brush dipped in natural leather oil.
Once we receive your online order, our Customer Care department individually checks the specifications and your notes to ensure everything is on track and ensures your holster will be made correctly. If there is a question or any doubt, they will reach out and double-check.
Then comes the manufacturing process. While we have always offered product customization, the game (and the lead-time) changed over 2 years ago, during the COVID-19 crisis when the demand sky-rocketed and our CEO and the Production Director reinvented our whole production process. Since then, high-end laser cutting machines & almost 100 craftsmen have kept working the magic to keep the unmatched 10-day production lead time, with the only exception being Christmas and summer Holidays.
Once the holster is ready and the quality is checked, we ship to wherever in the world you are with FedEx Express service, so you have the holster at your door within 3-4 days. Please do not misunderstand, this is not where it ends. On the rare occasion that anything is wrong with the product, we are here to make it right for you. In 1989 a forestry teacher decided to manufacture falconry gloves in his garage. The same passion still keeps him coming back to work every day.
