I carry a full-size 1911 while in the wilderness and I wanted my holster to fit perfectly with its thin & long design. Light Bearing Chest Holster

Although my primary handgun is not a revolver, the fact that Falco offers specialized chest holsters for revolvers equipped with scopes impressed me. The ability to fold the flap behind the gun & remove the velcro thumb-break for a more ready state appealed to me as someone who values quick and easy access to their firearm.
Both leather & nylon chest holsters were suitable for hiking, hunting, or any other outdoor adventures. All of them were good as a concealed carry chest holster when under the coat or winter jacket, however, nylon does concealment a little bit better thanks to the lack of a magazine pouch & additional flap.
Best Chest Holster: The Decision
After considering all these parameters, my choice became clear. I opted for a leather gun chest holster D113 custom-made for my 1911 & Streamlight TLR7A.
